Ghanaians are desperate about E- levy and minority are set to challenge it at supreme court
The brouhaha has started again on e- levy and as many Ghanaians are not satisfied with the passing of the e- levy and many don't know how this e- levy works. Many Ghanaians has lost some hopes in paying taxes because they don't see what their tax is use for.
Seeing the chat below, they are the charges on money we transfer on momo.
E- levy will take effect on 1st May, 2022, and the charges actually affect the first transaction for 24hours and there won't be any charges again on the any transaction within that 24hours.
One of the MPs has pass a bill to Parliament that the Parliament didn't meet the quorum requirement to pass the bill. Despite the passage of the e-levy, the minority in Ghana's Parliament are set to challenge it, at the supreme court.
